Fungies developer docs
Sell digital products with Fungies: embed a checkout, call the v0 API, and react to webhooks.
Fungies is the merchant of record for your digital products. You list what you sell; we take the payment, charge the right tax, and pay you out.
New here? Take the quickstart. Otherwise pick the piece you are building — there are three, and most integrations need one of them rather than all three.
Quickstart — your first sale
Never used Fungies before? From an empty account to a live checkout and a payment_success
webhook, in about ten minutes.
Integrate checkout
Put a working checkout on your site — embedded, as an overlay, or a hosted link. Start here if you just want to take money.
Use the API
Create and read products, offers, orders, subscriptions and customers over REST at
https://api.fungies.io/v0.
Receive webhooks
Get told when a payment succeeds or a subscription changes, so your app can grant access.
Read once, then skip
These pages cover behaviour shared by every endpoint. They are short, and they save you the guesswork later.
Authentication
Public and secret keys, and which one each call needs.
Errors
The response envelope, and what each status code means.
Pagination & filtering
The three list conventions, sorting, and archived records.
Idempotency & retries
Which calls are safe to retry, and how to deduplicate events.
Rate limits & request IDs
Backing off from a 429, and quoting x-request-id to support.
Versioning & deprecations
What can change without a new version, and what is deprecated today.
The object model
Orders, payments and subscriptions all hang off a product and an offer. If a field name in the reference doesn't make sense, Core Resources is where the objects are explained in prose.
Getting help
Search these docs with ⌘ K. Product and billing questions belong in the Help Center; integration questions get answered fastest in the Fungies Discord.
